In the period from January 1 to July 1 of the current year, the rates of dairy production increased by almost one and a half percent in the territory of the Russian Federation.
Through the efforts of employees of farms of various categories, it was possible to bring about fifteen million two hundred thousand tons of milk to the market.
Such information was shared by representatives of the Federal State Statistics Service. Also, the Federal State Statistics Service noted that the lion's share of merit lies on the shoulders of peasant farmers who provided an increase of four and a half percent and produced one million two hundred thousand tons of milk for the reporting period.
As for agricultural cooperatives and enterprises, here we can talk about a three percent increase in rates and a productivity achievement of eight million four hundred seventy thousand tons in the first half of 2019.
If we talk about the achievements of personal subsidiary plots, here, alas, there is no positive dynamics. On the contrary, a decrease of almost two and a half percent was recorded in comparison with the first half of 2018 - only five and a half million tons from January to June (inclusive) of 2019.
It should be noted that today in Russia the total number of cattle exceeds the number of nineteen million individuals.
The share of cows in the total number is eight million five hundred individuals (of which three million two hundred individuals are contained in the assets of agricultural enterprises and one million three hundred heads in the assets of peasant farms).
