This year, employees of agricultural enterprises of the Stavropol Territory managed to release about four and a half thousand tons of beef to the market.
It is noteworthy that this indicator is more than twenty-two percent higher than the volume of production of a similar product in the region by the same date in 2018.
Market analysts attribute the growth in production to the fact that the number of cattle in the Stavropol open spaces has increased significantly over the past few years. The increase in the number of so-called meat breeds and meat and dairy mestizos is especially noticeable.
It will not be superfluous to note that the increase in the rate of beef production in the region is to a large extent connected with the fact that recently low-cost technologies and principles of increased energy conservation are being increasingly introduced in agricultural and farming facilities of the Stavropol Territory.
In addition, there is a successful implementation of the practice of touring calving and the organization of a “vacation” for cows on pasture pastures of a long stay.
Such information was shared with the general public by Alexei Rudenko, who is the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory.
