In 2019, Khirov, Starosamborsky district, Lviv region, plans to launch a project for growing herbs in pots.

This was told by one of the founders of the companies "Volos Trade" and "First Organic nursery" Andrei Kalinyak. The owner of the agricultural enterprise said that there is already a preliminary order from retail chains, in particular, for mint in pots.

In addition to herbs, the farm plans to grow herbs and vegetables. I would like the products to be branded and organic, said Henrey Kalinyak. In addition, he expressed the desire for products from Volos Trade to be available in supermarkets.

For information, the main activity of the company is the cultivation of berries, nuts, other fruit trees and shrubs. Earlier it was reported that green prices in Ukraine in March this year increased by 19%, reaching unprecedented heights. Most of all, coriander went up - by 66%.

Dill has become more expensive by a third. But on parsley prices have even dropped slightly. The most expensive today was basil. In the markets, it is sold at a price of 450 UAH / kg, which is equivalent to $ 16.7 / kg. Growing green crops for sale in Ukraine is still the prerogative of the population and small business.
