On May 5, 2019, Rosselkhoznadzor employees met with colleagues from Thailand. In particular, leading experts from the Thai Bureau for Cooperation with Foreign Agricultural Institutions arrived to communicate with representatives of the Russian supervisory authority.

Such information was shared with the public by employees of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Control of the Russian Federation.

According to the negotiators, both sides came to a common desire to cooperate in the agricultural trade. And very soon, in July of this year, the most competent and experienced specialists from Rosselkhoznadzor will leave for sunny Thailand to inspect fish-producing and fish-processing enterprises.

In the event that the results of this audit are positive, Thai seafood of the highest quality will flood the Russian market.

It is important to add that while Russian experts will inspect fish enterprises in Thailand, Thai specialists will visit those companies in the Russian Federation whose activities are concentrated on the production of pork and beef.

If the inspection results are encouraging, then very soon the meat of Russian cattle will appear in the diet of Thai consumers.
