The fresh berry season in Ukraine is almost over. Info-Shuvar specialists found out how the prices for the most popular types of products differed from the 3 previous years in the largest wholesale market of the Shuvar ORSPO in Lviv in the Western region.
This year, more than 8 thousand were sold through the Shuvara site. Despite a rather difficult year, sales volumes of berries at Shuvar increased by 15% over the year, and this was achieved solely due to an increase in the volume of domestic berry cultivation.
The weather factor had a great negative impact on the berry yield of the current season. The abundance of rainfall in some and the drought in other regions of Ukraine deprived most farmers of a good harvest of berries.
