In the first two months of this year, the production of chicken eggs in Ukraine increased. The growth was 6.8%, if compared with the same period last year, which amounts to 2.26 billion units, the State Statistics Service of Ukraine said.
558.5 thousand meat was produced in January and February of this year. Here, too, there is an increase compared to the same period in 2018, which amounted to 4%.
For the same period of the current year, milk production in Ukraine slightly decreased. Compared to the same period last year, it fell by 1.6% to 1.4 million tons.
