Cronimet Mining Power Solutions in Windhoek, the capital and largest city of the Republic of Namibia, has recently completed the construction of a 800 kW solar power plant designed to meet energy needs and reduce operating costs for Namibian dairies.
The solar power plant consists of two 252 kW and 310 kW installed on the roof, installation "from scratch", ie without restrictions imposed by an existing building with a capacity of 140 kW, as well as installation on the roof of a canopy with a capacity of 80 kW.
Cronimet implemented this first project in the dairy industry as a design, procurement and construction partner.In the future, he will work over the next 25 years as an independent partner in the production of electricity (IPP) and operation and maintenance (O & M) with his joint venture OLC Dairies Solar Energy (Pty) Ltd.
