By the end of this year, the Naton poultry breeding enterprise from Sumy region plans to increase the number of chickens to 190 thousand at the same time.

To realize this intention, the company is engaged in the reconstruction of another house, the company director Alexander Olefir said in a statement. At this time, the number of chickens in the economy totals about 150 thousand heads. “This gave us the opportunity to get 30 million eggs last year,” said Alexander Olefir.

The company "Nathon" is engaged in the cultivation of Hungarian cross chicken HighLine brown. But in the future, the farm plans to increase the range of products offered by planting a white bird, as the market feels the need for both brown and white eggs.

This plays a special role in the export of the product to the countries of the Middle East, on which Nathon plans to enter the market, the director of the enterprise summed up. Earlier it was reported that the number of poultry in Ukraine is growing rapidly, which is facilitated by government support for the industry.

According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, only in a year its number increased by 5 million 482.3 thousand goals. As of March 1 of this year, the number of poultry in the country totaled 203 million 13.9 thousand heads.
