In the period from January 1 to July 1, 2019, representatives of the meat processing industry of the Penza region managed to bring their region to the leaders of the Volga Federal District in matters of increasing the production rate of the agro-industrial complex.
Such information was shared with the public by representatives of the press center of the territorial statistics service in the Penza region. In addition, the department emphasized that at the moment, no other meat producers on the territory of the Volga Federal District can compare with butchers from Penza and its environs.
For clarity, it should be noted that in the first half of this year, Penza brought to the market about thirty-four and a half thousand tons of meat. But a year earlier the indicator was one hundred thirty eight and a half percent less.
It will not be superfluous to note that the Penza region has become one of the foremost in the sausage industry. Local processing enterprises managed to increase the pace of sausage production by more than one hundred twenty-five and a half percent in comparison with the first half of last year.
You can also safely call Penza farmers forwards for slaughter of poultry and farm animals - in this area Penza exceeded their own indicators a year ago by one hundred twenty-four percent.
The volumes of milk yield in Penza burenki also increased. And today, their indicator exceeds the average milk yield of the first half of 2018 by one hundred and eight percent.
