Only cottage cheese has fallen in price.
This was announced on his Facebook page by Alexey Doroshenko, Director General of the Ukrainian Association of Distribution Network Suppliers.
According to the results of September 2018, the milk basket has become more expensive by 41 hryvnias, or 13%. In September 2017, it cost 307 hryvnias, now 348.
The milk basket included a liter of milk, a kilogram of sour cream, a kilogram of butter and a kilogram of cottage cheese. In the calculations, state statistics were used, says Doroshenko.
From this list of products, only cottage cheese has fallen in price - by 6% or by 6 hryvnias. Everything else has risen in price: milk by 29%, butter by 23%, sour cream by 18%. In terms of hryvnias: milk +5 hryvnia per liter, sour cream +8 hryvnia, butter +34 hryvnia per kilogram.
On average, in Ukraine, at the end of September, butter cost 183 hryvnias, cottage cheese 90 hryvnias, sour cream 53 hryvnias, milk 22 hryvnias / liter.
The Association of Distribution Network Suppliers also carried out calculations at the price of a dairy basket for the period from February to October 2018. During this period, dairy products also showed a gradual increase in price - by 9%.
At the same time, the specialist says that there is a tendency for recession to rise in price. In 2017, the basket rose in price more than this year - by 19%.
