Representatives of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan sent a number of appeals to the Russian authorities, taking into account which, the Russian Federation gave the green light to the transit traffic from Ukraine of a whole list of industrial goods.

The Russian government is developing amendments to laws that relate to the transportation of Ukrainian products across Russia to other countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, namely Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, said the representative of the Russian government Sergey Prikhodko.

Considering the results of studying the requests of the Kyrgyz and Kazakh parties, transit movements of some goods from Ukraine will be allowed.

A prerequisite for the permission of transit transportation is the observance of their order, which is regulated by the decree of the Russian guarantor of January 1, 2016 through certain permanent and mobile control points on the railway and automobile stations, said Serey Prikhodko.

The document on the permit for the transit of Ukrainian goods through the territory of the Russian Federation will be valid until July 1, 2019.

The authorities of the Russian Federation are working on the creation of amendments to the texts of the remaining norms of laws that speak of the importation into Russia and the transport of goods from Ukraine to Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, subject to the rules of accounting and navigation sealing, Prikhodko said.
