In the Tula region, an updated production flow-mechanized line has been launched, which produces the symbol of the region and the whole of Russia - the legendary Tula gingerbread. Innovations occurred at the Yasnaya Polyana confectionery factory. According to investors, the innovations did not affect the taste of the beloved gingerbread, but they significantly affected the volume of its production.
According to representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, a little more than one billion rubles was invested in the program for the development of gingerbread production in the Tula region.
The volumes of the renewed production are really impressive: from now on the employees of the enterprise can receive about one and a half thousand kilograms of Tula gingerbread in just one hour. To ensure the smooth operation of the new production line, the management of Yasnaya Polyana attracted new employees, providing jobs for more than 170 residents of the region.
It is noteworthy that the legendary Tula gingerbread has become an unusually famous delicacy not only within Russia, but also far beyond its borders. Foreigners get acquainted with this confectionery in souvenir shops, shops with Russian goods and in the menu of Aeroflot airline, which also includes Tula gingerbread.
It should be added that in the summer of 2019 in the Tula region a colorful and massive celebration of Gingerbread Day is planned. The event is expected to take place in August.
