This week was marked for the Russian market by an increase in prices for such crops as carrots.
Food analysts note that a slight increase in the cost of carrots is due to increased demand among consumers.
It is noteworthy that today high-quality carrots of domestic production are actively entering the Russian market. Its price varies from nine to seventeen rubles per kilogram.
It would seem that the numbers are not so impressive, but a week earlier on Russian shelves carrots were nine percent cheaper than now. However, it is important to note that only carrots are getting more expensive, the quality of which allows customers to buy products in large volumes and store them in storage.
Such information was shared by analysts of the Russian food market. They also noted that carrots, which are not subject to long-term storage in warehouses, cost customers seven rubles per kilogram package. It is noteworthy that manufacturers assure: they are ready to reduce the cost of such goods further.
It should also be emphasized that today domestic carrots cost Russians ten percent cheaper than at the end of August 2018.
