Representatives of the Main Directorate of Rosselkhoznadzor in the Nizhny Novgorod Region and their colleagues from the agency’s representative office in the Mari El Republic report that poultry meat affected by salmonella has entered the Russian market.
It turned out that the meat products manufactured by the Akashevskaya poultry factory did not comply with the sanitary and veterinary standards that are prescribed in the technical regulation "On Food Safety", developed by specialists of the Customs Union.
Employees of the Rosselkhoznadzor succeeded in detecting a discrepancy with international requirements after samples were taken from products of the Akashevskaya poultry factory in one of the stores in the Ulyanovsk Region. Samples in the form of frozen necks of broiler chickens went to the table of researchers of the supervisory authority. And it soon became clear that this product contains pathogenic microflora. We are talking about the causative agent of such a dangerous disease for both birds and people, as salmonellosis.Note that the limited liability company “Akashevskaya Poultry Factory” is located on the territory of the Republic of Mari El and is considered one of the largest and most respected enterprises for the production of meat products in the region and surrounding areas. In the assortment of the poultry farm, you can find not only frozen broilers, but also chilled chicken meat, as well as semi-finished products from poultry meat, sausage, sausages and deli meats.
Today, against the administration of the Akashevskaya poultry factory, administrative proceedings are reported on offenses that could entail damage to the health of Russian consumers. Factory products are withdrawn from sale.
