Leading experts in the field of selection, who have been working for more than one year on the basis of an agricultural university in the California city of Davis, recently shared with the world community a whole series of their achievements.

In particular, we are talking about five innovative varieties of garden strawberries, which are endowed with increased resistance to various diseases and parasites.

Such information was shared by representatives of the public relations direction of a California university. It was also noted that the new strawberry varieties have increased yields, which contrasts sharply with the fruiting volumes of the varieties of the same berry that are familiar to American farmers.

In addition, all five new strawberry species do not require abundant watering, so farmers during the cultivation of these varieties can significantly reduce the cost of watering the beds.

It will not be amiss to emphasize that the tests of all new varieties were carried out in the field for three years. During this period, high fruitfulness, resistance to pests and good soil quality after the harvesting campaign were confirmed.
