The American producer Naturipe proudly unveiled its latest patented berry, Pacific CentennialTM Raspberry.
Pacific Centennial is a giant raspberry that has a balanced, juicy sweet taste and toughness that provides easy storage. It is often described as having a "classic" taste of red raspberries with a hint of pomegranate.
This variety was developed by Pacific Berry Breeding, a program created by Naturipe Berry Growers in 2003 to offer consumers the best-tasting berries.
Pacific Berry Breeding is one of the most highly specialized berry growing programs in the world, dedicated to finding new varieties of berries that offer a high yield and exceptional taste.
Naturipe representatives spoke about their new raspberries during the conference and exhibition Fresh Summit Conference & Expo Product Manufacturers Association, which was held October 17-19 in Anaheim, California.
Visitors could see the new raspberry variety at Naturipe booth # 4173. They had the opportunity to try recipes that included the new variety berries and other delicious Naturipe dishes.
Pacific Centennial Raspberries are now available at grocery stores selling Naturipe berries.
