Educational and scientific institutions submitted 79 project proposals in the amount of $ 21 million under measure 1.1 “Vocational training and skills acquisition” of the Rural Development Program (RDP) for 2014–2020.
This was stated by the State Fund for Agriculture. The event was attended by universities, vocational schools, vocational training centers, research institutes and the research and production center of state enterprises.

The total budget for this procedure is $ 8.4 million. Of these, 3.3 million are intended for conducting courses and seminars related to the prevention and / or overcoming of a difficult epizootic situation - improving the biosafety of farms.
The submitted project proposals will be evaluated by the Governing Body of the Program in accordance with the Law on the Management of Funds from European Structural and Investment Funds (ASUSIF).
Sub-dimensional assistance is aimed at expanding the knowledge and skills of farmers, foresters and workers on their farms. The goal is to achieve an adequate level of technical and economic training, as well as expand access to knowledge and information in the field of agriculture and forestry.
