The gastronomic “feast of the stomach” for a family of four people during the New Year’s Eve will cost Russians 6.3 thousand rubles. Such information was shared by analysts of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
“Based on the figures provided by Rosstatistiki employees, we were able to estimate the cost of gastronomic products on the eve of the New Year and the ratio of the scale of consumer demand and trade supply,” ministerial analysts say. - The most popular food items among the population were taken into account, such as: fruits and vegetables, confectionery products, fish, meat products, cheese and sausages, as well as delicacies in the form of caviar and seafood, alcohol and non-alcoholic products.
A thorough analysis allowed the experts to calculate the average cost of those dishes that are very popular as New Year's treats. So, it turned out that the cost of "herring under a fur coat" is practically no different from last year. But the salad "Olivier" went up by as much as 17 rubles.
Greenhouse cucumbers and tomatoes from the harvest of 2018 will allow consumers to save in comparison with the costs of the previous year for the same products. The same applies to fruits and berries - this year their New Year’s price in the Russian markets is lower than in 2017.
